If you're here, chances are you've got a few questions - and trust me, you're not the only one.

I've gathered the questions I'm asked most often and answered them all in one place. My goal is simple: to take the mystery out of boudoir photography, help you feel confident, and make sure you know exactly what to expect before, during, and after your photoshoot with me - from the moment you book your session to the day you receive your final gallery.

So, FAQ it... let's talk boudoir.

Is boudoir only for women?

Not at all!

Boudoir is for anyone who wants to celebrate themselves, regardless of gender, age, body type, or relationship status.

While my work is rooted in the female gaze and most of my clients are women, I also welcome men, couples, and people of all gender identities. My approach doesn't change - every session is tailored to who you are, with the focus on creating images that feel authentic rather than trying to fit someone else's idea of beauty or sensuality.

At the end of the day, boudoir isn't about gender. It's about self-expression, confidence, and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

Is Boudoir photography for me?

Yes!

You don't need to be a certain age, size, shape, or confidence level to book a boudoir session. You don't need modelling experience or to look like the people you see on social media. Boudoir is for anyone who wants to celebrate themselves, reconnect with their confidence, or simply experience something outside their comfort zone.

Whether you're marking a milestone, reclaiming your body, celebrating a new chapter, or doing it just because you deserve to, your reason is valid.

The only requirement is that you come as yourself. I'll take care of the rest.

How much boudoir photoshoot costs?

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience boudoir, which is why I offer a range of packages to suit different budgets and needs.

The final cost depends on the package you choose and how many images you'd like to keep. If you fall in love with more photographs than your package includes (which happens quite often!), you can always purchase additional images afterwards—there's no pressure to decide before your session.

If you're unsure which package is right for you, just send me a message. I'd be happy to chat through your ideas, answer any questions, and help you find the option that best fits both your vision and your budget.

what should i wear?

The short answer? Whatever makes you feel the most like you.

There are no strict rules when it comes to boudoir. The best outfit is one that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

I've put together a complete guide covering everything you need to know, including outfit ideas, accessories, what to bring, and how to prepare for your session.

Can i bring a friend for support

Absolutely! If having someone you trust by your side helps you feel more relaxed, you're very welcome to bring one friend with you.

In fact, I often find having an extra pair of hands helpful during the session. Whether it's holding a reflector, fixing your hair, adjusting an outfit, or simply cheering you on between shots, they can be a great support.

To keep the atmosphere calm and focused, I kindly ask that you limit it to one guest. This ensures the session remains an intimate, comfortable experience where you can truly relax and be yourself.

Will you edit my photos? What about scars, acne, or stretch marks?

Yes - but my goal is to enhance your photographs, not change who you are.

Temporary blemishes like spots, bruises, or small scratches is something I always remove. Permanent features such as scars, stretch marks, birthmarks, freckles, and tattoos are part of your story, so I don't remove them by default. If there's something you're particularly self-conscious about, just let me know and I'll remove them by request.

For me, true empowerment isn't about creating a flawless version of yourself that doesn't exist. If a boudoir session is meant to help you embrace yourself, how empowering would it really be if I blurred away your skin texture, erased every mark, and turned you into someone you no longer recognise?

My editing style is natural and cinematic. I want you to look at your photographs and think, "I can't believe that's me!" — not because I've transformed you into someone else, but because I've shown you how beautiful you already are.

Do you offer professional hair and makeup?

At the moment, I don't offer professional hair and makeup as part of my packages. I'm still searching for artists whose style and approach align with my own, and I believe this part of the experience should feel just as authentic as the photography itself.

Personally, I think no one knows your face better than you do. You know which makeup makes you feel confident, which hairstyle feels most like *you*, and what reflects your personality. After all, you've been styling yourself for years.

That said, if you'd like to have your hair and makeup professionally done before your session, I absolutely encourage it. Feel free to book with your favourite stylist beforehand and arrive camera-ready. Whether you choose a natural look or full glam, the most important thing is that when you look in the mirror, you still see yourself.

can i order prints?

Absolutely! Once your photographs have been professionally edited, you'll receive access to your own private online gallery.

From there, you can easily order high-quality prints and have them delivered straight to your door. Whether you're looking for a classic photo print, a framed piece for your home, or something more unique like a canvas, metal, or wood print, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Your photographs deserve more than living on a phone or hard drive—they deserve to be seen and enjoyed for years to come.

will my photos be posted online?

Your privacy is my priority. By default, all of your photographs are completely private and will never be shared with anyone other than you.

The only time I will use your images in my portfolio, on my website, or on social media is if you choose to give me permission by signing an official model release agreement. This decision is entirely yours, and there's never any pressure to say yes.

In fact, I encourage you to make that decision after you've seen your final gallery. If you love your images and feel comfortable sharing some of them, wonderful—we'll complete the agreement together. If you'd rather keep them private, that's absolutely fine too.

Without your signed consent, your photographs will never be published or used for marketing.

STill have a question?

If you've made it this far, hopefully I've answered most of the questions that were on your mind. But if there's anything you're still unsure about, don't hesitate to get in touch.

No question is too small, too silly, or too awkward. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and excited long before you step in front of my camera.

Whenever you're ready, I'd love to help you create an experience that's uniquely yours.
